NAMI operates the Drop-In Center for the mentally ill, providing
supervised opportunities for recreation and socialization. The program
specifically follows a grass roots rather that a "mental health
professional" oriented service model.
Oak Leyden Developmental Services

This agency provides a wide array of facilitative and rehabilitative
services to individuals with developmental disabilities from birth
through adulthood:
Developmental Training - vocational training and services
for adults with developmental disabilities.
Early Intervention / 0-3 Program - designed for children
from birth to age 3 who are risk or have a developmental
disability.
Supported Employment - designed to locate, obtain and
develop community based jobs for people with disabilities 18 or
older; provides placement service and on-site job coaching.
Clinic - provides improved access to care, integration and
coordination of services to DD population.
Oak Park Township Senior Services

Senior Services provides case management services to Oak Park
residents including assessment, planning, and follow-up. Through early
identification and early intervention, at-risk seniors are able to
maintain independent community living.
Parenthesis

parents. The Family Wrap Program provides intensive counseling,
educational services and postpartum depression support groups.

As of July 2006, Community Care Options (CCO) and The Pillars Community Services (PCS), two of the Chicago area’s most established and trusted not-for-profit social services organizations, are combining their strengths and merging to become one agency called simply, “Pillars.”
The Child & Adolescent Mental Health Program provides
intensive outpatient therapy to seriously emotionally impaired children
and adolescents. The Interpersonal Learning Center & Job
Coach provides psychiatric rehabilitation in conjunction with
vocational rehabilitation for the seriously mentally ill. Substance
Abuse program is designed to address issues underlying substance
abuse, focusing on adolescents resistant to previous treatment
recommendations.
