Aspire Children’s Services

Aspire Children’s Services supports early intervention services for children with developmental disabilities, birth to age three and continued pediatric therapies for Oak Park and River Forest children age three to eight.

Appropriate early intervention through pediatric therapies and specialized services can increase developmental and educational gains for children experiencing, or at risk of delays or disabilities.

As a result of early intervention, children with developmental delays grow up to become productive, independent individuals.  Research and practice assert that children with developmental disabilities continue to achieve the positive outcomes improving quality of life when they continue in specialized services beyond age three.

Aspire begins with developmental screening and evaluations, to determine the services that best meet the needs of the child.  Aspire focuses on the child in the context of the family and look at the development of the child as a whole, while providing support to the family.
